Secure Carrier for Kayaks with D-Profile Hulls

The Thule K-Guard is tilt adjustable to facilitate easy loading and unloading and has a durable soft lining to protect the hull of your kayak. The cradle is easy to fit to the roof bars and to remove again when not in use. It locks to the bars and comes with steel reinforced lockable straps for added security.

The K-Guard cradle is designed to provide a snug fit for kayaks that have a curved D-shaped underhull, such as sea kayaks and touring kayaks. The lining does adapt a little to suit a range of profiles. The included lockable straps ensure secure fastening so providing peace of mind for the driver whilst on the road or whilst parked. There is a soft rubber pad around the strap buckle which protects the kayak and car from scratches during loading and transport.

This is the first-ever Thule kayak carrier to be lockable, both kayak to carrier (with lockable steel-core strap) and carrier to roof rack. The K-Guard Cradles provide good pressure distribution onto the kayak hull, thanks to rubber supports designed to adapt to differently shaped kayaks or different parts of the hull depending on how far apart the cradles are.
