A Large Aerodynamically Designed Roof Box Ideal For Families
The Thule Motion 3 - L rooftop box is a large capacity full width box that is perfect for families in need of extra luggage carrying space for either day-to-day use or on holidays. A great sized box for those with bigger cars, 4×4s or vans, thanks to its great new aerodynamic design the Motion 3 - L minimizes wind resistance, ensuring a fuel-efficient ride.
The modern look to the box not only adds to the styling of any vehicle but has been engineered with functionality in mind. Featuring a dual side opening which enables much easier loading and unloading, a SlideLock is used on both side of the sturdy box lid with separate opening & locking functions. This has been added to ensure that when the box is closed the auto lock indicates everything is closed ensuring your luggage is secure.
PowerClick fittings that require no tools come as standard with the Motion 3 - L roof box. These are placed through a sliding internal rail system that enables the box to be mounted forward to still allow boot access with minimal risk of contact with the cargo box. The 4 PowerClick fittings then simply position round your bars and using the integrated torque indicator which “clicks” when it is properly & securely mounted.
Thule have made the Motion 3 - L compatible with accessories such as: the interior box light, pull strap for easy lid access and protective box liner.
Available in a range of sizes there should be a Thule Motion 3 Roof Box for all vehicles and cargo carrying needs.

Will the Motion 3 L fit my car?
Roof Bar Spacing (Dimension D)
The Motion 3 L roof box has multiple roof bar mount positions, check that the spacing between the car's roof bars fall within the minimum and maximum spacing dimensions specified above.
Distance Between Roof Bar Feet (Dimension W)
The distance between the roof bar mounting clamps used by the Motion 3 L. Check that your roof rack feet have sufficient space to allow the bar clamps to fit. (W Out is the overall maximum width of the Motion 3 L )
Note - If you have T-Track roof bars, the Motion 3 M bar clamps can be upgraded to T-Track fittings - this will allow more flexibility in the mounting location on your roof bars. T-Track adapter 6976 is needed for 20mm T-Track slots used by Thule WingBars/SlideBars/ProBars, we also sell adapters for wider T-Tracks used by BMW/Renault/Mercedes)
