Bike Rack Dedicated for the Volkswagen T6
The Thule WanderWay Black (911002) is a top of the range tailgate mounted bike carrier with raised platform, specifically designed for use with the Volkswagen Transporter T6. With its dedicated design for the Transporter T6, installation is quick and couldn't be any easier! As standard the Thule WanderWay can transport 2 bikes, however with 3rd/4th Bike Adaptors (Available to purchase separately) the WanderWay's capacity can be increased up to 4 Bikes!
Mounted solely to the tailgate of the Transporter T6, it is possible to open the vehicle's tailgate (no mounted bikes) without having to completely remove the bike carrier. Bike Mounting is easy with the use of detachable bike frame arms with Thules' AcuTight Torque Limiter, ensuring you have the correct clamping pressure to secure your bikes in place. The WanderWay's raised mounting position also means that rear lights and number plate are not obscured when the carrier is in use. Frame Arms also feature locks, allowing you to securely lock any bikes directly to the WanderWay carrier for added security. The WanderWay Black also has a max load capacity of 60 kg, providing no individual bike exceeds 30 kg.
Note: Please note that the Thule WanderWay Black (911002) is not a universal fit and is specifically designed for use with the Volkswagen Transporter T6.
