Thule Motion 3 L Low Roof Box

Low Profile Version of the Motion 3 Large

The Thule Motion 3 L Low roof box is a low profile version of the Large Motion 3 model, offering a sleeker aerodynamic design whilst retaining all the functionality found with the Motion 3 boxes. Thanks to the improved class leading aerodynamics the low profile boxes offer less wind resistance than the standard sizes so are more fuel efficient and quieter too. They are a great choice for carrying snow sports equipment such as skis and snowboards as well as being ideal for beach holidays and general use.  

The Motion 3 Large Low-profile box is packed with features to ensure that it is as user-friendly as possible. The box is robust, durable and has dual side opening to allow easy access to your luggage from either side enabling you to easily reach your luggage no matter where you pack it. If you are travelling in Europe this also enables you to load from pavement side when parallel parking on the right-hand side of roads. Getting into the box has been made super easy thanks to the Thule SlideLock system with wide handle, which provides a smooth open and close of the lid. The SlideLock system has separate opening & locking functions, it will auto-lock the roof box lid in place when you close it and will indicate when the box lid is securely closed. 

Fixing the Motion 3 L - Low on to your roof is also a hassle-free task thanks to the Thule PowerClick quick mount system. The four connection units have a 'jaw' that tightens round the roof bar. They come equipped with an integrated torque sensor that will 'click' once the required torque is reached so you can be sure that the box is securely fitted. The PowerClick Quick Mount System fixings are placed down through the internal slide track rail, this allows the box to be moved backwards and forwards on your bars for optimal placement. The idea behind this optimal placement is that when securely fitted you will still be able to gain boot access with minimal, if any, contact between the boot door and Motion 3L Low roof box.

Before tightening the connectors check the alignment of the box is central on your bars, you can do this by measuring in from the end of the bar to the edge of the box on each side on both bars. To secure the PowerClick connectors, just place them over your roof bars, then spin the wheel on the top of the fixing until the torque indicator clicks. Once this is done on all 4 fixings you are ready to load your box.
