Tow Bar Mounted Cycle Carrier - Folds Up for Space Saving
The Thule OutPace 2 is a lightweight and tiltable modern bike carrier from Thule with a unique space-saving tilt up design for when parked. Being foldable it is easy to store at home when not in use. Integrated lights connect to your 13 pin towbar socket to ensure visibility.
Designed for transporting up to 2 bikes, the OutPace 2 mounts onto the car's tow bar with each bike secured to the OutPace rack via arms that pivot from the base. These use a moveable head clamp that rotates, slides, and adjusts flexibly to fit different bike sizes and styles, making sure it always finds the perfect position on the frame. Wheel straps are then used to secure the wheels into the trays.
The mounting arms allow the bikes to be loaded and unloaded in any order unlike most bike racks which use horizontal frame clamps which pass through each bike frame so the bikes have to be unloaded in order.
The frame clamps are compatible with bike frames between 20-90mm diameter and up to 1250mm wheel base.
