The dual side opening lid is simple to lock in place with its quick use SlideLock system this incorporates separate locking and opening functions and auto-locks the lid into place showing when the box is closed securely. 

Mounting any of the Thule Vector range is quick and easy with the tool free PowerClick quick mount system that is included with the roof top box. The 4 mountings drop through the Vector box on each corner via an adjustable sliding rail, this rail allows for the box to be positioned in the optimum place on your roof bars. Being able to position the box in a more forward position on your vehicles roof should allow full boot access with minimal, if any, risk of contact between the boot lid and box.
